Various things can lead to soil contamination. Some examples include accidental spillages or leaks, historical industrial use of the land, landfill leachate leaks and agricultural activities. These contaminants must be removed or reduced for the land to be used safely. If they remain within the soil, they pose a serious risk to human health.

If heavy metals are present (including arsenic) then Jacobi’s range of ion exchange resins, Resinex, can be used to remove these.

Jacobi offers hassle-free carbon life-cycle management where we remove spent carbon, transport it to our reactivation plants where it is recycled and used again.
