WATER TREATMENT
Jacobi can detail the individual chemical compounds or assess the total pollution in industrial wastewater thanks to a global parameter called Chemical Oxygen Demand. As each case is unique, Jacobi has developed a service where we assess which grade of carbon is right for you and estimate the annual consumption too. Using lab testing and deploying pilot equipment, we can then recommend the correct activated carbon grade from our AquaSorb™ range.
Treatment with this product will reduce toxicity and allow the wastewater to be safely discharged into the environment or reused. Our carbon products can remove:

- BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene)

- AOX (Absorbable Organic Halides)

AquaSorb™
Specialised activated carbon product designed for a wide range of water treatment duties. Products in this range are compliant with international standards, including NSF, EN and AWWA. Moreover, they also meet the requirements of the Food Chemicals Codex. This ensures a high standard of performance in potable, process and waste water applications.

Filters
Jacobi Services can provide AquaFlow™ filters to be used with our AquaSorb™ carbon, as well as covering all maintenance and servicing of the filters.
Resins
Our AquaSorb™ range can be used together with ion exchange resins from our Resinex range for optimum results.
Recycling
Jacobi also offers a recycling service. This is a hassle-free service which allows spent carbon to be removed and recycled. The recycled carbon can then be reused again, reducing waste. We provide the entirety of this service, removing the spent carbon, reactivating it and rotating your filters. If the carbon cannot be recycled, we can remove it and ensure it is safely disposed of.
