Jacobi’s PetroSorb™ HS-D is the grade of activated carbon with the lowest silica release rate on the market. It dramatically reduces ion exchange resin wash water requirements and ensures that the ion exchange columns function is used for the removal of trace metals, and not silica from the recirculating condensate.
The use of Jacobi’s PetroSorb™ HS-D will prevent:
- Traces of soluble impurities being concentrated into the system
- Risk of boiler tube sludging
- Risk of substance depositing within the turbine (silica)
- Risk of coking from soluble oil (organics)

EcoSorb™
Activated carbons designed for a diverse range of air and gas purification duties. Featuring granular, extruded pellet and powdered types; these products exhibit the high microporosity necessary to adsorb efficiently in the gaseous phase. Speciality types, for example acid washed versions, are available for demanding applications for safety and purity.
