Price Increase Announcement – Effective January 1, 2022
As the costs to produce Ion Exchange Resins (IER) have continued to rise during the past 6 months, we have had to make the decision to implement a general base price increase ranging from 10-20% for all IER shipped on – or after – January 1, 2022, depending on product type.
Chemical prices have seen a significant inflationary period. This impacts styrene, DVB, acids, bases, amines and other ethylene-based chemicals. Energy prices have increased as well, which have increased production costs significantly. Prices of lumber, paper and steel have hit record highs driving up packaging costs.
Freight costs have increased significantly, especially ocean container rates. Freight surcharges will continue to be charged on top of the base price increase.
We continue to reduce overhead expenses to mitigate the situation, however, a partial passthrough of cost increases to our customers is unfortunately necessary.
Our strategic sourcing team continues to work tirelessly to minimize any cost impact to our customers.
We thank you for your support and understanding as we continue to ensure supply in spite of these challenges.
Stay safe!
