Jacobi is announcing a general 10-20% price increase on all Activated Carbons, depending on product type, due to a substantial increase in raw material costs, currency exchange rates and several other costs related to dealing with the pandemic. The price increase will be applied to all shipments made (and invoiced) as of July 1, 2021. Please note that this price increase does not cover additional ocean freight costs.

Due to our multiple sourcing locations and our professional sourcing network of our raw materials throughout Asia, fortunately we have been able to secure supply. However, the costs have continued to increase significantly during Q2 of 2021. Unfortunately, this continued increase is beyond what Jacobi can absorb.

We continue to reduce overhead expenses to mitigate the situation, however a partial pass-through of the cost increases is unfortunately necessary. Our strategic sourcing, production & logistics teams continue to work tirelessly to secure supply and minimize any cost impact to our customers.
