ISO22000 awarded to Jacobi Carbons Lanka
We are proud to announce that our manufacturing operation in Sri Lanka has been formally accredited with the ISO22000 standard for Food Safety Management.
The team in Jacobi Carbons Lanka (JCL) has been working diligently in all areas of processing to ensure that good hygiene, contamination risk and product quality are managed in a formal and professional manner for some time. This accreditation recognises this commitment and sends a strong message of the high standard of manufacturing Jacobi provides.
A formal presentation has been made to Mr Rasanga Adikara (JCL Country manager) by SGS and its audit team of the certificate this week.
Jacobi Carbons manufactures a comprehensive range of activated carbons used in food contact processes, ranging from edible oils to sugar and glucose treatment. ISO22000 is a guarantee for our customers of high quality and food safety in our manufacturing environment.
